Style assignment
Harold Feinstein
He was a photographer from Coney Island. I have always had the interest in photographing the anture and going through the books I found his book "One Hundred Flowers " and looking at it,it gave me a very calming and soothing feeling. His work is precise and detailed every flower had a unique and distinct feature portrayed in the image which made it even more special.He has been shooting portfolio's for a long time and this was Harold's first attempt at nature photography so he was not unable to get over his usual portfolio style .I felt that all the flowers were shot in a portfolio manner and had a story coming from them.
Michael Freeman
Michael is a British author,photographer and journalist. He puts all his expertise together in his books and I felt the same.His book portrayed his author and journalism skill in a way that you get interested in it and cannot get off the topic. It was a book about nature and wildlife photography ,again a topic I get attracted to easily and cannot get enough of it. He not only had a good sense of photography but presentation as well. He explained all the photographs in a vivid manner making it a treat to read and learn from.I learnt a lot from the book a lot.
Ken Griffiths
He was a photojournalist,photo essayist and advertising artist. His works included photographing cars which was something Iwould like to work in the future but right now as I was concentrating on nature photography I got the Nature Photography book and learnt techniques from it as well as loved his work.He had a lot of landscapes and animals which is one thing I want to concentrate on as well.
